Anna Christie, B.A., M.Div., RCC is a licensed psychotherapist in Vancouver, Canada who has fully recovered from emetophobia. As such, she has specialized in emetophobia treatment since 2010. She is now the director of the Emetophobia Education Program, and coaches clients all over the world by telehealth on how to overcome their emetophobia. She also offers a set of 10 group classes which take participants through all of the steps necessary to overcome their phobia. Her free website and weekly podcast provide information for people who are afraid of vomiting.
David Russ, Ph.D., is a psychologist in Charlotte, North Carolina, who specializes in treating emetophobia as well as other anxiety disorders. Together with Dr. Chris McCarthy he has written the award-winning and scientifically verified Turnaround Anxiety Program with its Emetophobia Supplement. He has also authored the children’s book “Emetophobia! The Ultimate Kids’ Guide (2nd edition).” He is a founding partner of Carolinas Counseling Group with over 20 clinicians.
